
Golden Turmeric Latte
with fresh ingredients
Ingredients (1 serving)
1 cup (250 ml) plant-based milk (like oat, almond, or coconut)
1 tsp freshly grated turmeric root (or 1/2 tsp ground turmeric)
1/2 tsp freshly grated ginger root
A pinch of black pepper (enhances absorption of curcumin)
1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional, for warmth)
1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
1/2 tsp coconut oil (optional, for creaminess)
How to?
Warm the Milk
In a small saucepan, heat your plant milk over medium heat until warm but not boiling.Add Fresh Roots and Spices
Stir in the freshly grated turmeric and ginger, along with black pepper, cinnamon, and coconut oil if using.Simmer Gently
Let it simmer on low heat for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally to blend the flavors. Don’t let it boil!Strain (Optional)
Strain through a fine mesh sieve if you prefer a smoother texture.Sweeten & Serve
Pour into your favorite mug, stir in honey or maple syrup, and enjoy warm.
